The fourth meaning of the word Dubai (Dibba), and means a small grasshopper that did not show its wings yet. A small grasshopper covered the face of the whole of Dubai and did not leave any grass in it, and Dubai used to appear like desert land until it was inhabited by the Al Maktoum tribe.
Finally, the name may belong to a woman who was called Dabayah, who could inform the tribe of the pirates' movements to protect them from their attacks before they happened.
The Geographical location
The city of Dubai is the capital of the emirate, divided by a bay of water called Dubai Creek into two parts: the southern part called Bur Dubai and the northern part called Deira.
